Update #2

We just met with Dr. Strom. The surgery went well. The tumor was about the size of a golf ball. By all appearances the cancer was not outside the colon wall and there were no swollen lymph nodes. This is the best report we could have gotten. We won't know for sure until we get the pathology report next week. But all is as well as can be right now.

I really do appreciate your website and got to read Leslie's entries last night for the first time. What a wonderful way to communicate, and you guys are both excellent at it. I hope and will pray you can turn this journey into a book, publish it and get RICH!!!

  7. Uh, I'm sort of new at the blogging- thing - but what does . . . Your comment is awaiting moderation - mean on my first comment?

Seth, you know me - I've never had moderate comments! Crazy computers.

But I agree with Terrie - wonderful way to communicate and what a way to journal!

    Another hug to pass around.

We have been praying for you all ever since Nancy called and told us that Leslie had colon cancer and would have surgery today. She gave us your web site so we could keep up with what is happening. We are very thankful that all has gone well today and it does sound like it is as good as it could be under the circumstances. We praise God and we will continue to pray for you all.
