At Home

Today, Leslie stayed home from work and her principal got a substitute for her class. The older two kids are at school thanks to their Mimi who came to get them at O bright thirty this morning. I took the Munch back to Aunt Kristin's. Uncle Wil was there today and she exclaimed with excitement when we pulled up and she saw his kapleese (police) car. He called a few hours later saying they were going to DQ to get ice cream (at 10:20 AM!!!).

Pray for Leslie. She was very tired and nauseous when I left this morning. The doctor had given her a new anti-nausea medication to try.

  1. Kapleese? As in, "kapleese don arress me?"

    We'll continue praying for Leslie!

  2. She says "kapleese" for police and "kabloon" for baloon. Every other "p" and "b" word she says just fine. Go figure!

    Thanks for praying.

  3. oh, those are the words you want them to hold on to to remind you how little and precious they are. My 1st grader still says "aminals" and I don't even care! :)

  5. OR chik-away (my eldest did that one) and I'm sure Truett Cathy could use it on a billbouard somehow w/ all his other misspellings!

and ba-la-la-la-la-la-la (for banana - the youngest); I correct the older ones if they even TRY to correct him.

    too sweet and precious.

praying for a stable stomach and hearty digestive system to deal w/ those pills!
