Holding Our Breath

We are still holding our breath, hoping that no one else gets the flu bug. McGrooter was feeling better today, although he still has a fever. Mike & Becky continue to serve us, ensuring everything is taken care of while I am at work. What a blessing! Leslie has struggled today with the continued shooting pains that ensue after a treatment. She's remained in the bed. The girls are carrying on like life is normal!

Our niece, Miriam, went to a pediatric endrocrinologist today and her sugar was over 400. The decided to install an insulin pump instead of opting for the four shots of insulin each day. We are so thankful for this technology. The docs said the don't typically opt for the pump with a 3-year-old, but because Clay has one they felt confident he and Dana could manage Miriam's. Miriam has been so brave throughout the ordeal, but we continue to hurt for them all. Continue to pray for them.
